The Island of Rouge is very well written. I bought a copy for my daughter. She and I both enjoyed it. Mrs. Knotoff related well with the children at her school visit. I will definitely invite her back!
-Mrs. Kuchler, Our Lady of Lourdes School

I enjoyed reading the book [The Island of Rouge] to the class immensely. Everyone had a great pirate adventure right in the classroom!

I loved this book and I can't wait until the sequel!

I read the book [The Island of Rouge] in one sitting without my 8 yr old. I loved it, I just wish the little boy was a bit older so he could marry the princess. I hope there will be a second book. Thanks for the little getaway.
-Edel

My kids absolutely loved The Island of Rouge! It was really neat how excited and into it they were. We used it as family time. All five of us huddled together on the couch and read the book. We read a chapter a night. My daughter couldn't wait and sneaked and finished the book before the family did. It was really cute. Since then we have been reading chapter books as a family. The kids just love this time together. So many thanks for encouraging a great "family time" activity. We loved the book and can't wait for the next one!
-Michele

Wow! The back of The Island of Rouge is so captavating. Not because you're my aunt, but they're the best 10 pages of a book I've ever read!
-Matt

I love your book! I just finished the book. It's great! And it's extremely visual, so it could easily be made into a movie! You've got a great imagination. Thanks so much for sharing it with me! I especially liked the ending. Nice touch!
-Ann

I just wanted to say thank you for coming to my class. I think you made everyone want to try and write a book.
-Destinie

We were very lucky to have an author come to our classroom especially on Friday the 13th. Writing books must take a long time. Many kids in my class were inspired by you. They might be an author one day. Thanks for the tip to be descriptive with words. I'll remember to use that tip! I hope you write another book!
-Ashley

I just started your book and I'm hooked!
-Bonnie

I can't put it down! I keep turning the pages to see how Duncan gets himself out of all his tough situations!
-Theresa
